Mark Verbiest
Independent Director
 
Mark served as Group General Counsel of Telecom Corporation of New Zealand Ltd from November 2000 to June 30, 2008, also being responsible for two business units.  Prior to Telecom, he was Partner in a major New Zealand law firm for 15 years specialising in securities and competition law, mergers and acquisitions and general commercial and corporate law.  Mark currently holds a number of directorships including Southern Cross Medical Care Society, AMP Haumi Management Limited - Manager of AMP NZ Office Trust, Gas Industry Company Limited and the Government Superannuation Fund Authority.  Mark is also a member of the Securities Commission.  Mark received a Law degree from Victoria University.


Graeme Horsley

Graeme is a former partner of Ernst & Young’s corporate finance practice and is a Life Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers (NZIV) where he was for 12 years the NZIV representative on the International Valuation Standards Committee. Graeme is widely recognised as an expert in property investment and valuation. He is a professional director, chair of Ngati Whatua o Orakei Corporation, an independent director of the AMP NZ Office Trust management company, a director of Trust Investments and he has held a number of other directorships including Bay of Plenty District Health Board, Carter Group Ltd, Trustbank Wellington and Housing New Zealand.  Graeme was also made a Member of the NZ Order of Merit in the 2009 New Years Honours.
