Mark co-founded Willis Bond & Co in 1988. Mark has over 30 years’ experience in real estate investment, development, funds management and private equity activities including:
- Acquiring and managing various leading large-scale mixed-use development projects including the $175 million Chews Lane Precinct project and the $100 million Overseas Passenger Terminal development.
- Acquiring and overseeing a number of large high-quality commercial office redevelopments including Transpower House, Queens Wharf Centre and NZX Centre.
- Close involvement in the establishment of Property For Industry and Direct Property Fund,
two successful New Zealand property funds. - Managing various real estate investments on behalf of private investors.
- Acting as executive chairman of Pencarrow Private Equity Limited for 10 years, a company founded in 1992.
- The current chairman of Donaghys Limited and previously chairman and/or director of a number of other private and public companies (including Kapiti Cheeses and Restaurant Brands).
Mark has a MBA degree from Otago University. He is a trustee of Wellesley College and is a trustee of St Patrick’s College Board of Proprietors.

Wayne has worked with Willis Bond & Co for over 12 years, originally as CFO of Property For Industry and, since 1999, as CFO of Willis Bond & Co itself. He was a key member behind the establishment and management of Direct Property Fund, as a shareholder and director of the management company. He has extensive experience in:
- Negotiating significant bank funding facilities for projects and corporates.
- Raising capital including public offers of securities.
- Investment analysis and modeling.
- Treasury activities.
- Formulating complex financial models for real estate and development opportunities.
- Overall financial management of public real estate funds.
- Tax planning for investments and corporates.
Wayne also has prior experience in local government, advertising and investment sectors.
He is a chartered accountant with an accounting degree and post-graduate diploma in finance.

Roger has significant experience in the real estate sector, most notably:
- Overseeing the development of the Chews Lane Precinct apartment building, which comprises 95 apartments in the heart of Wellington city. This aspect of the project has a value of $95 million.
- Managing the resource consent process for the development of the Overseas Passenger Terminal redevelopment.
- Reviewing various development and investment opportunities and managing associated review processes, with a particular focus on the Auckland market.
Previously Roger spent five years as a senior manager, corporate finance at The National Bank of New Zealand as head of the Syndications & Agency section. Roger has a strong interest in cricket and has represented New Zealand with distinction at a senior level and has also acted as chairperson for the New Zealand Players’ Association.

Murray has over 20 years' experience in funds management. Prior to joining Willis Bond & Co, Murray was Managing Director of AMP Capital Investors (in excess of $10 billion under management). Prior to that, he was Head of Alternative Assets responsible for a portfolio of property, infrastructure and private equity investments (in excess of $3 billion).
Previous experience includes:
- Leading the public-to-private acquisition of Capital Properties New Zealand, the acquisition of Summerset Retirement Village Group and the acquisition of the management contract for Property For Industry.
- Overseeing AMP Capital’s private equity and infrastructure portfolios in New Zealand.
- Various large capital raising processes.
- The sale of a 50% share of the management contract of the AMP NZ Office Trust and 20% of the securities to the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.
- Various directorships and governance roles.

David has wide-ranging real estate investment and development expertise. He has:
- Managed the development of the $35 million mixed-use car park, office and retail building within the Chews Lane Precinct.
- Managed the leasing of the Chews Lane retail tenancies.
- Co-managed the $76 million sale to AMP Office Trust of various investment components of the Chews Lane Precinct development.
- Managed various leasing and development activities within the Queens Wharf Centre and NZX Centre.
- Managed various real estate asset evaluation and acquisition processes since 2005.
- As a solicitor, worked on various large corporate and commercial property transactions.
David is a commercial lawyer with eight years’ experience with the corporate and commercial team at Simpson Grierson and two years’ experience as a solicitor in the United Kingdom. He holds law and accounting degrees. He is currently a director of the Home of Compassion housing company.

Megan is currently responsible for the management of a high-quality commercial real estate portfolio on behalf of private investors. She:
- Gained registration as a valuer with Tse Group Limited and was subsequently involved in a range
- of valuation assessments for residential development, subdivisions and feasibility studies.
- Was subsequently employed as Research Analyst for Richard Ellis, in the formative years of the division,
- and assisted with the development of the database systems for this well-respected research team.
- Moved to the CB Richard Ellis Asset Services team in 2004, and became a senior member of the team responsible for a large portfolio of investment properties for major institutions and private investors.
She holds a BBS (Valuation & Property Management) and is a SNZPI Registered Valuer.
